There is a blessing to those who serve others in need
The mission of SCWC’s Outreach Ministry is to provide parishioners of all ages with opportunities to appreciate the blessing of helping others, reflect the love of Christ in our dealings with others in our community and strive to make outreach a part of our daily lives.
This outreach ministry will extend to those in our local community and to those in need throughout the world. We commit ourselves to compassion ministries.
We will touch the poor and the suffering with the compassion of Christ and will demonstrate His love in practical ways, providing food, clothing and medical care. Through our church and missions programs, we will minister to total human need, both spiritual and physical. We will proclaim God’s unconditional love, His provision of forgiveness, and His pathway of acceptance to all who are broken by sin—poor and rich alike—and urge them to receive and follow Christ.

PROJECT LUV is one of the extended arms of Serenity Christian Worship Center, …reaching people in New Jersey and surrounding areas. The mandate is to be a resource for individuals literally living on the outside. Because of life’s challenges, many struggle each day to survive from hunger, a place to sleep and the bare necessities that many take for granted. PROJECT LUV epitomizes “love in action,” preparing hot meals, distributing blankets, socks, toiletries and whatever is needed throughout the year.
Pass The Bread Ministries
Deuteronomy 15:10 instructs us to: “Give generously to them and do so without a grudging heart; then because of this the Lord your God will bless you in all your work and in everything you put your hand to.”
Pass the Bread Ministries in collaboration with The Food Bank of South Jersey offers a Food Pantry to individuals and families in need of sustenance. We understand the blessing of giving to others who may be experiencing their season of trial.
What a joy it is to “Pass the Bread,” knowing that at the end of the day, “the need has been met, one person at a time!”
